BACKGROUND

After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), I began my career at NARS Cosmetics in their international department before moving on to Jurlique as their US Marketing Manager. From there I began consulting for various beauty/fashion brands which includes Mark., Andira Rain Tees, and Kiehl’s Since 1851 specializing in marketing while writing for Pretty Connected.  I occasionally blog about my clients, unbiasedly and as I see relevant.  My consulting roles are independent from Pretty Connected and based on my education and work experience not on any contracts or promises of promotion on this website.

ABOUT ME

I’m silly.  I drive a Vespa. I’m obsessed with kombucha (but not the price). I’m a beauty junkie. I knew it was time to start this blog once the mover told me not to pack so many “books” in the boxes next time I moved– it makes them too heavy (if only those were books in the boxes!).

Disclaimer: I am under no obligation to review any of the products I have chosen to write about, nor do I receive any financial gain. Unless otherwise noted the product was sent to me by a representative of the company, but I will try to post an affiliation disclaimer under every product review.  Usually, I receive a press sample which is smaller then full size products or not in the original packaging as an opportunity to try a new launch item.  I don’t write about every product I receive, only about what I think is worth talking about.  I do take excerpts/images from company websites to give accurate product benefits and descriptions, in addition to my impressions/results from using the product. I’m a huge advocate of keeping your receipt when purchasing products, since most brands have excellent return policies in case you’re not getting everything you expect from your purchase.  I’m here to deliver the facts and my opinion about what’s out on the market, but you’re the true expert when it comes to your skin and what works for you.  Enjoy!
