ABOUT ME – A terrible mix of Holly Golightly,  Julia Child (if I could cook), and Mary (from Party Girl)

After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), Lara began her career at NARS Cosmetics in international sales before moving on to Jurlique as their US Marketing Manager.

From there she began her own little agency, Pretty Social NYC, specializing in marketing, event planning and social media and began consulting for various beauty/fashion brands and agencies. Her client roster includes  L’Oreal/Kiehl’s, Avon/Mark., Andira Rain Tees, Enter: NewMedia, MirrorNYC, GOODNESS, Noise784, and Orange Hat Group.

Lara is also an Ambassador for Cynthia Rowley BAND-AIDS,  Aveeno and Recyclebank, and was a featured blogger for Lucky Magazine’s Lucky Shops and Express’ Holiday 2011 Collection.  Additionally she contributes to TheSwankCity.Com and NearSay.com, and Pretty Connected was featured as “the blog of the day” on BeautyFeed.com. Lara has appeared on The Rachel Ray Show, Today Show, Revlon/Lucky Magazine Power Color Video and The Look on The Pulse Network and once has even jumped out of plane
